ABOUT RESCUE BEHAVIOR HELP

RESCUE BEHAVIOR HELP

was created to provide behavior support for rescue dogs who are attempting to cope in their new lives. It is affordable training, behavior modification and consultation to help meet the great need for our canine rescue community.

RESCUE BEHAVIOR HELP

specializes in dogs who are victims of abuse, trauma, neglect and abandonment. Severe fear, separation/isolation anxiety, sensitivities, resource guarding, aggression, reactivity and impulse behaviors are common to dogs with a traumatic past. Adopters who've welcomed these special pups into their homes can sometimes be at a loss when trying to help their new family member. Very few trainers are qualified, equipped or willing to meet the needs of these special dogs. That is why RBH exists.

ABOUT ME

Jason Lee Davis, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA

I am a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant and Certified Professional Dog Trainer.

I specialize in rescue dogs who've endured abuse, trauma, neglect, and abandonment. With a background in shelter & rescue animal behavior, I now strive to provide qualified, affordable post adoption behavior support through private in-home training sessions, consultation and group classes.  In shelters, I evaluated and provided training and behavior modification for hundreds of dogs to help them become better adoption candidates. And to the public, I provided classes, workshops and countless training and behavior modification sessions for dog owners in their homes. In my former work as an Animal Cruelty Investigator and EAMT, I oversaw some of the most emotionally tragic cases imaginable. I've provided on-scene medical exams and life-saving treatment and conducted complex rescues as an animal first responder and provided stabilized transportation and further medical assistance in a shelter animal trauma hospital. On the Disaster Team, we worked with FEMA, Red Cross and Wildland Firefighting Teams to keep pets safe during natural disasters. Through it all, our job was to rescue, rehabilitate and get them adopted and into a new home. However, there is a great need for post adoption behavior support when dogs are still struggling with their past traumas. And there are few trainers who are experienced, qualified, or willing to take on such cases. So now with RBH, I am able to specifically help the most vulnerable dogs to thrive in their new homes, filling a gap where very little qualified behavior support is available. These are the dogs I care about most deeply and I will continue serving them and their owners as long as I'm able. I currently live in North Phoenix with our 4 dogs, Hudson the German Shepherd Dog, Wynter the Husky, Roisin the Husky mix, and Klaire the Rat Terrier mix, all with traumatic backgrounds who are now living their best lives. JASON LEE DAVIS, CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA Certified Canine Behavior Consultant, Certified Professional Dog Trainer Founder of RESCUE BEHAVIOR HELP
